ABOUT US

Swim. Breathe. Belong

I’m a former international triathlete who had the privilege of competing for Great Britain and training with some of the best coaches in the sport. After my final competition at the World Triathlon Championships in Cancún, Mexico, I decided to shift my focus to another passion: Ocean swimming and coaching others.

My Story

I grew up by the ocean, and it’s shaped everything about who I am and how I coach. My background is rooted in years of swimming — I began as a competitive swimmer from a young age, later becoming an international triathlete. Training and competing abroad allowed me to work with incredible coaches who deepened my understanding of performance, technique, and the mental side of swimming.

When I eventually stopped competing, I studied Sports Science at university, specialising in coaching and sports psychology. My dissertation focused on the profile of mood states in swimmers, which gave me a deep appreciation of how confidence, focus, and mindset play as big a role in swimming as physical ability. Over the years, I’ve become passionate about helping swimmers of all levels — from complete beginners overcoming fear of the water, to competitive athletes refining their open-water technique. I have a particular eye for detail when it comes to form and movement.

What makes me different is that I’ve lived this world — both as an athlete and a coach, and as someone who truly loves the sea. I spend hours each week in the ocean with my family, and I’ve learned to understand its rhythm and beauty. For me, swimming isn’t about waiting for perfect conditions — it’s about learning to move safely and confidently in all conditions. I believe everyone can learn to swim well. It’s not about perfection, but connection — with the water, with yourself, and with the freedom that swimming brings.

My coaching is designed to help people transform their swimming abilities, refine their technique, and increase their speed, all while gaining confidence in the ocean and learning to swim safely in all conditions. I focus on stroke and breathing technique, strength, and overall fitness. With a strong foundation in sports psychology, I aim to help swimmers build a mindset that complements their physical training, allowing them to overcome fear and truly connect with the water.

My love for the ocean began in childhood, when I spent countless hours on the water with my parents on a small sailboat. As an adult, I sailed across oceans — from San Remo to the Caribbean, the United States, New Zealand, and Australia — learning the rhythms and power of the sea firsthand. As a small family business, you’ll often find my children (and our dog Zyta) nearby during lessons. Zyta loves being out on the paddleboard, bringing a calm, peaceful energy to every session. What makes my coaching different is the combination of personal experience, deep technical knowledge, and a genuine love for the ocean. I believe anyone can swim with confidence and respect for the sea, given the right guidance and support.
